I love Coach Rostan from Hampden Sidney, and his legacy will always be a huge contribution to DIII Lacrosse.

I have so much respect for Head Coach Ray Rostan, why not, 338 career wins, and a great coach. His previous podcast with us on unique looks at skeleton offense drills as had a huge impact on my coaching and our team success. In the recent podcast Coach shared a number of different lacrosse drills, but I think this lacrosse drill your kids will love!

Over the last two years we have seen a significant increase in the amount of lacrosse drills that college lacrosse coaches are running in a tight or confined area, for lack of a better or more consistent label we call it “crunching the field.” The benefits are awesome. If our kids/players can convert with sharp short passes in a tight confined area, then when they are playing in more space in games, is seems so much easier. Perhaps it is the Canadian influence, or perhaps the results of this lacrosse practice technique have successfully improved passing and shooting, regardless … these types of “crunch” lacrosse drills have become an inherent element in NCAA lacrosse practices.
